Hi Brad. Those are excellent images. I really like the colours in the first one, especially the muted blue and brown variations in the maria. Thanks for showing these.

Brad,

Really nice. For such a low number of stacks, you've done well.

Cheers,
Darrin...

thanks all for the encouragement, i have to thank doomsayer for getting me started with the collimation of this vc200l, for someone that has never done any collimation i may have bitten off more than i can chew, still gota learn some time . the real test will be when it needs redoing
i am typing this from the side of the road outside parkes, i have broken down so i need to find an auto electrician in the morning so i can get to astrofest and watch the malins. can,t believe that i can,t move but the van is close enough to Parkes to have internet access
regards brad

Awesome!

Wonderful images. Nice to see the venerable VC200L still churning them out .

thanks all, dave i am amazed at two things 1. That you have managed to get anything at all lately so well done!!! in the 35 seconds of clear weather i failed to get my gear running, a tribute to having your equipment in a state of constant readiness and the cat like reflexes to deploy it so quickly 2. boredom is so profound that a shot of the moon posted in july last year has resurfaced to much aclaim
