Some native plants

Just some quick snaps of some plants in our native garden. I was trying to go "macro" with my 18-55mm lens. Not proclaiming these are of any outstanding quality, but the art of going macro is very addictive. I want to do more of this in the coming days.

Anyone help with the name of the plants?
1. Banksia?
2. Protea?

Regards,
Stephen

Great images Stephen.
I think you have named them right - first a banskia, second a proteus, but I am no huge expert.
Love the 2nd image.
