Orion with 50mm lens

Hi all, this is a repro of old data, IMO the results came out okay. 13 x 20 minute exposures at f4 with Astro 40D. Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in Photoshop.

Hope you like it.

Thanks Brian, the lens is the standard Canon f1.4 50mm lens used on Astro 40D.

Nice Lester, the second version is better.

Would be great if you had some shorter exposures to mask over the Orion Nebula area.

Cheers

Thanks for the tip Mike, I agree the shorter exposures would help. Gives me something to try later this year.

All the best.
