Exclamation Victoria - Winter Warning!

We have only just started Winter but there is already a warning out for Victoria.

For the next 4 days, starting tomorrow (Tuesday), there will be Damaging winds, heavy rain, Thunderstorms, flash-flooding, hail and Snow down to 500m

Lovely

It's already freezing here!
No Astronomy from this State for a while (again)
I'm looking forward to the snow, but not the chilly wind and rain and floods and hail.

Please be careful on the roads.

Hey, it's Victoria and it's June - cold and wet is the norm, or used to be. Maybe we are just having a normal winter, which we haven't had for many years.
I love to observe (and enjoy your shows Ken), but a cold wet winter is long over due.
Looking forward to clear and cold skies - soon

Rod

Yeah, thanks for being a regular in my Broadcasts, Rod

But as you can tell by this thread, I won't be broadcasting for a little while

Yeah, you are also correct about our weather and it IS winter. We haven't had a proper winter for a long time. Might be time to have one, snow and all
But it's just so cold

When it comes to weather, the bigger the hype.... the bigger the fizzer

one thing that WILL live up to the hype though is cloud. It'll all clear up just in time for full moon though, no 2 ways about it.

It was cold here this morning....
1. My electric operated windows would not wind down -frozen over
2. On my way to work at 8, hit a small patch of ice on the road & car slid was going slow though & it was easy to regain control
