Apologies for the extended outage guys and gals.
As Terry said in the other thread, there was a DoS attack on the server which isn't a big drama, but when the server was rebooted a misconfiguration meant that apache (the web server) didn't restart properly. Hence the outage.
The site was not hacked. We're working with the server hosts to come up with a better solution to avoid these outages in the future.
