Yep, it's the first day of the winter months!

Interestingly, it is forecast to hit 19 deg later today?

We're still waiting for our first frost here in town. Can't be long now.

I'm looking forward to it. Saw a few mosquitoes around dusk but none while I was at the scope. Need a good frost to knock off the survivors.

I was amazed at the weather report on the news tonight.

They said that Melbourne reached a Minimum of 10 last night.

We didn't even get to a TOP of 10 today

So our High was lower than their Low
Geez it's cold up here!

Yep, I can confirm for you Ken (in case you didn't know), Melbournians are a bunch of sooks

Personally, I don't mind it. There's something magical about a cold frosty morning.

It's gone a bit weird here at the moment.

It steadily dropped down down to 0.9ºc where it sat for an hour or so, then all of a sudden it jumps to 2.3ºc.

I had a look outside and there's no cloud cover, in fact it's a clear still night.

There's probably a mouse sitting next to the sensor box in the weather station.

As I type this from Mackay,QLD it is 11.12am and it is cloudy raining and 13.5 degrees so I would rather your Tassy sunshine. I have no idea what the wind chill is but it feels very cold here
