Smile SkyQuest

Hey Guys and Girls.

I've got myself into a bit of a dilemma ..

As of a few weeks ago i decided to buy my first reflector telescope. As i have only owned and used refractor telescopes all my life i was hoping that you guys could help me . So i'm just gunna throw it out there.

Ive been looking at a Orion SkyQuest XX12g GoTo Truss Tube Dobsonian telescope and was wondering if any you guys had experience with this scope? (Here it is, [URL="http://www.telescope.com/Telescopes/GoTo-Computerized-Telescopes/Orion-SkyQuest-XX12g-GoTo-Truss-Tube-Dobsonian-Telescope/pc/-1/c/1/sc/15/p/8953.uts"] ..

The bad and good points are all welcome, i've read a few reviews, but nothin beats true feedback.. One thing i guess that i really want answered, is the Dob base upto the task of Astrophotography? I have heard the azimuth struggles with photography, is this true .. Is there any other scopes i may have missed that are of the same size and price range that are going to fit my requirements better?

Thanks guys
