Hi all,
Just putting the link up to my Eta Aquarids video from this year, this is best viewed in a dark room, all i used was a Watec 902H camera and 16mm f/1.4 Auto-Iris lens mounted to a tripod. The video was put together in Windows Movie Maker.
Wonderful stuff Chris.
So ...... was there tracking involved, or did Windows MovieMaker stitch the ?30 sec frames together? Oops, no, you said it was a video, so must have tracking??
Its a funny little camera.

Hi Liz,
There was no tracking as it was mounted to a camera tripod.
I did 15 x 10 minute video blocks during that night, then i had to visually scan the video's in fast playback and noted any movements, all labour intensive!
Thats why the radiant sort of jumps around a bit, i was trying different positions of the camera through the night, most of them i concentrated on the radiant but a few i concentrated a little further out to try and get longer meteors.
I have a couple of other clips of sporadic meteors, one of the morning conjunction which included a meteor, and 3 clips of satellites including one iridium flare!
