Townsville - after the planetary conjunctions

As Dennis said, pics to take after the conjunction.

Hung around Castle Hill for another hour for the sunrise, and chatting to a few I knew who had walked up the hill. Quite a popular thing to do in town for those physically inclined (not me).

Lots of beautiful native grasses around the Hill, which the light was catching quite nicely.

Liz lovely colors in your flowers with the sun washing over them it certainly brings out the detail.

Take it or leave it Liz, but in my experiences with Sunrises and Sunsets I have found for best results, you wait until the Sun just Peaks out over the Horizon, and the Sunset is best when it has dropped under, well I have found this, and it has worked great for me.

An Example, the first: Sunrise, second:sunset

Hi Liz

Now I’m really jealous - what gorgeous lighting! I love the back lit grass stalks in the 2nd image and the quality of the light on the flowers is just beautiful.

Makes Brisbane look rather industrial and dull, which of course it is!

Cheers

Dennis
