Thankyou Mike, Tom and Eric.

Yes, I was very lucky with the colours of that wispy cloud, which wasnt really evident to the naked eye earlier, but came out clearly in the pics.

Yes Eric, was certainly rugged up. Has warmed up now to a lovley 23 dg.

Thankyou Petra.

Have included another labelled image for those unsure of which planets are which.

Images 2, 3 and 5, are by far and away the best conjunction pictures posted here.

Thanks Ron, yes, a few palms certainly help with the images. It is beautiful out that time, even with the cold.

Great images Liz! I've just come back from a few days in the Burdekin this afternoon, and also had that nice wispy cloud this morning - but I don't think I captured it as well as you did.

Cheers,
Stephen

I love image 5 - just the way the planets are presented with the foreground landscape.

Well done!

Darrin...

Hi Liz,

Thank you for posting the beautiful shots.

Those idyllic looking palm fronds on the beach still look like paradise to me, despite the
chilly morning. What a great place to live.
