Somerset Morning

It's been a beautiful start to the day.
The Eta Aquarids, the Conjunction, and to top it off, I took a short drive to Somerset Dam to take in the dawn chorus.

Hi Jeanette

Those are a couple of lovely, atmospheric and slightly eerie waterscapes. They really convey the feeling of the place so well. Nice shooting.

Cheers

Dennis

The first was taken with the stock 18-55mm lens, the other with the Nifty 50.
The second I played around with the curves a bit.
The first is only cropped and resized.
It's inspired me to get down there more often. It's really is beautiful there.
Next time though, I'll find a place where I don't have to get off the road for cars.
Thanks for looking.

Great images jjj!! Love that eerie quality with the fog playing on the water, and the stunted scary trees. Hope there werent any monsters of the bog around.
