Saturn with Tethys Shadow 4.28.11

What would Saturn photograph like under excellent seeing? Well last night we found out. One of the best so far.

Hi there Dave & Gail, certainly looks like very nice data. Tethys & shadow nice & crisp. Must have been a real thrill looking at the live feed.

Well done.
Regards
Trevor

Very nice and sharp. Interesting that Tethys' shadow is not as black as seen in the equivalent eclipses on Jupiter. I suppose that would be due to the reflected light off the rings, fascinating.

Thanks Paul.. BTW I was hoping to use Registax 6 in Parallels Desktop under Mac OS and the app wouldn't open.

This has not been the case with any previous version.

Any clues why this is so?
