Southern Cross and Pointers (another try) 25th April, 2011

Hi all,

Had another try at this one lastnight... 10 exp 2m 30s each, Tracked using my star tracker, no guiding... Canon 400D, Canon EF 17-40mm F4L @ 40mm, ISO 800, aligned and stacked in DSS.

Had to remove a few subs which had aircraft flying through them...

the image in the link is just a bit tiny to view, couldn't make it slightly bigger?

Now that's a fine wide field. Really like the presentation and you must be pleased with it.

Nice one Andrew. Fitted all in nicely. Good to see a wide field where the main stars haven't been blurred to twice their size..
