Do people ever get this mag on time?? It seems like every issue has its own "Where is my S&S?" thread.

Got mine from the newsagent - was in store wednesday as you said. Damn fine read :-) I must say thats very original to feature an aussie amateur so prominently - even on the front cover! thats different, I like it! Good on you and all the best for the future Silvie

I'll get mine from the newsagent when it arrives, usually a week later in Tassie.

I also saw it in the newsagent on Wednesday, and it's not in the mail today. Can't see the benefit of being a subscriber really.

Being cheaper could possibly be a MAJOR advantage for subscribers...

My subscription ran out. I don't think I'll renew. I had a look in the newsagent today and saw it there, had a flick through.. Nice writeup on Silvie. It looked like they only had a couple of shots in their "sky shots" section, both by Chris Venter in what seemed an extension to his nice looking DSLR astrophotography article.

When I got home much to my joy, I found my copy of S&S in my mailbox...a quick flick through this issue suggests it will be a good read...

sorry guys I didn't want to start a ***** session, just stating the fact that their distribution system is not the best. being a subscriber you should get it well before the general populace

Question I haven't got my S&S yet have you?

I thought one of the advantages of subscribing was that you got to preview the magazine prior to the general populace. The fact it is on the shelves and not in my post box leads me to wonder about the advantages of subscribing. I have stuck with this magazine over the last few years through their ups and downs and enjoy it but their distribution system is now really starting to let the side down. S and S, which IMHO, is now a more professional magazine than it has been in a long time is really doing itself and its public a huge disfavour.
