Here's one of my very very first shots on a tripod with a sattelite wizzing past.
It doesnt look as good posted, probably from compressing!! But thought i'd show it anyway.
Funny you should say its a meteor, because when i took a heap of pics that night i thought i had the satellite on a shot of tarantula and wasnt sure if it got in the shot. but when i processed the shot the a couple of nights later i seen the streak on this shot, so i thought i was just mistaken. so maybe it is a fluke meteor i have taken without realising!!
Nice image Danielsun,
I like the effect of the meteor in the frame.
I hope you don't mind me having a play with your image, I tried to bring out a bit of contrast and detail.
It could be halfway through an iridium flare.. I just don't know if you would've captured a meteor at that short exposure.. btw, how long was the exposure?
Thanks Andrew! Thats fine, you've got it looking better!!
And after compressing and image adjustments on corel it no longer tells me the shot info, which being new at this is a lesson learnt to store and copy off the original shot or note down the info before adjusting the shot. But comparing it with others i took on the night it seems the exposure was aprox 60 to 75 secs.
