Solar disk 28 March Repro

Some imaging earlier today of the solar disk. Seeing was ok but plenty to see on the disk and even some prominences.

Still not quite getting the results I am after. I have found that the etalon settings for the full disk are a lot different to the settings for the hi res images. I also tend to get better results with detail and the way it looks with the hi resolution data than with the full disk. I have the greatest respect for people like Al who are getting great results on their full disk imaging.

Still a nice disc shot Paul. I noticed on some forums they are using dedicated Astronomy cameras with a greater dynamic range and B3400 blocking filters on 100mm Ha scopes and are getting good results. I know this is an expensive option but I'm guessing decreases the amount of post processing and gives a more even setting across the entire disc.
