Sat storm January to March 2011

Hi All,

Received a most interesting set of comparison images this morning from Mike Malaska. Mike has put together these images using hi-res Cassini IR & visible light images along with ground based images.

Amazing I've never seen storms like that on Saturn.

Thanks for the comparison Trevor - it is amazing the amount of detail that can really be seen from the ground based images!

Thanks guy's, it really is amazing to see such comparisons, particularly the level of detail that amateurs can achieve.
