Another Sunday with the Sun!

Hello,

I was able to get a few snaps in this morning of a couple of the active regions on the Sun.

AR 1176 is a cracker with so much going on while AR 1177 is a little more subtle.

Thanks for looking!

I can't believe you got some Sun must stop at the border .Just down the road here cloudy all day. That AR 1176 really is active it was going on and off all Friday arvo and AR 1177 has developed more since Friday. Thanks for the posts. Will try to get a few during the week weather permitting. Being self employed gives me the luxury of a quick lunch session if things look okay.

Great shots as always, Matt. You've also caught a nice example of an Ellerman Bomb in pic 1 - the bright spot just to the right of the S-shaped filament.
