pre dawn freshness in the air

I have noticed that around 4.30am my time, a soft breeze will spring up and carry with it a refreshing fragrance. I do not know if trees or plants have a clock, but it is if they seem to be waking up and release pollen or whatever into the air.

It is an uplifting smell that puts an extra step in the stride!!

What made me think of it is that logging in today, and seeing all the posts.
  • The deep space guys; horeshead, orion, a planetary nebulae, tarantula
  • Some great new saturn shots from a newbie
  • An new eyepiece for a newbie
  • Some fantastic jupiter shots from a not so newbie but with no tracking and hand held video camera
  • Shirts for sale
  • Another planet from Rob T
  • A pirate reference
It is almost like all the negatives that had been on the site have been washed away.

It felt "right" over the last few mornings, the way it should be, I felt back at home!!

Well done everyone!

I've noticed the same thing in the early evening and at certain times of the day. I suspect that some plants release their perfumes at certain temperatures (Ponders may be able to tell us). I have noticed that the white roses (Icebergs) in the garden smell sweetly during the day, yet hardly at night, yet the Apricot Delight's are strong at night.
