You may recall your previous post Mark "c14 on losmandy g11", and my reply in part was "The G11 G requires the counterweights shown in the pic i.e. 2 X 21 lbs & 1 X 11 lbs" i.e. 2 X 10kgs & 1 X 5kgs. The EdgeHD14 is virtually identical to the C14 but weighs a little more at 21.5kgs.
A pretty close way of finding the c/weight needed is to measure the distance from the centre of the RA axis to the centre of the tube. It stands to reason that you would need to place a 20kg weight at that same distance on the c/weight bar. Of course this doesn't take into account any added accessories including the finderscope, mounting plate etc.
