Ebay: Observatory Class 16" Computer controllable 16" Newtonian

Theres a 16" F5 Newtonian on Ebay located Melbourne.

I'm posting this on behalf of Matt Hocking who is not a member , so I can't answer questions about the telescope other than as to the optical quality as the optician. He informs me that the materials alone cost a lot more than the asking price, which makes it a very good buy. Matt is a very capable young engineer, and doesn't seem to do anything by halves, and needs to sell the scope to pay University debts.

He is happy to sell privately and can be contacted on:

Hi Mark.

Ebay listings don't go in the buy/sell forum. I'm moving this to general chat.

What a beast! He's quite the salesman. Got me dreaming & drooling with his talk about picking up faint globs...

Thats an absolute steal for that scope, unfortunately it is far from portable which I need.
