Solar images with EOS600D video

Hi all
here is first test of solar imaging using the EOS 600D video capability. Full disc shot at 1080P, and closeup at 3x video zoom, 1080P. Full HD is maintained as it uses 1to 1 resolution on the sensor.
Images stacked and processed in Registax. Had to convert the .MOV files the camera generates into .AVi first, which registax then then use. Images taken round 3PM 10 inch F5.6 scope used. Full aperature glass solar filter
Seeing wasnt that good of course for that time of day

Nice images Scott - can't wait until I can get a 600D and use that 1080P crop instead of the 550D 640x480 crop. What software do you use for MOV-AVI conversion?

Thanks all
Heres a preview of the 600D
I use AVS Video Converter to convert the .MOV to .AVI files
Its easy to use and has a great variety of conversion options, and can also edit video files.
Yes its odd canon used 640x480 only for full res. crop in the 550D but 1080P in the 600D. Ideally canon should have both options, but the 1080 crop is great not only for astronomy work but turns a 50mm lens into a 150mm telephoto.

This was shot with the video zoom and a 50mm lens.
