Before the Clouds

The clouds were rolling in quickly this morning but managed a quick grab of a nice Filament which was one of the largest I'd seen for a while. Also did an Active Region but seeing was deteriorating rapidly.Hopefully some more Sun this arvo.Note to capture this Filament I focused on the area then adjusted the tuner until I got the best onscreen view which is always slightly different to Active Region tuning.

Hi Derek - great contrast in the Filament pics - WOW!
I was able to get in 6 minutes of AVIs this afternoon during a long frustrating cloud session!
Any Sun is good Sun though!
