It's our first Ordinary General Meeting of the season, and seems like eternity since that last.
Our main item will be on Photographic Composition by Peter O'Brien of the Photographic Society of Queensland. Peter was one of our judges at out Photo Competition last year and will help us to frame those shots better for dramatic effect.
I'll be presenting lots of info about this years astrofest too - there is plenty going on and I shall be announcing one or two 'exclusives' (not that exclussive, but we are the first of the clubs to meet after our committee meeting).
If you would like to join us as my guest, we will be kicking off at 4pm in the Parnell Building at UQ, St lucia.
Refreshments served following the main meet, and weather permitting, scopes in the park afterwards.
