I like this setup .... can use 2 scopes at the same time.
The mount holds two telescopes side by side or a single telescope on one side. The telescopes do not have to be of equal weight since this is an isostatic mount with the center of gravity near the telescope position. This configuration improves damping time showing less vibration than one arm fork mounts..!
- Dual mounts to attach 2 telescopes or 1 telescope + some accessories
- Butter smooth head movements
- Very sturdy William Optics Walnut wooden tripod
- Slow Motion Controls for both Scopes.
One of the scopes can be positioned ''anywhere'' it likes and does not interfere with the other scopes position. ... so 2 people can be viewing at different ' targets ' at the same time. You can see this as per photo shown.
Happy as .. I am

Nice looking mount (and scopes too). And it looks like it has slow motion controls - excellent. What's the weight capacity?
Andrew
I did a search and found scopes up to 9kgs can be ' happily handled ' by this mount .... on both sides at a time.
I wouldn't go any heavier though .. ! ..... might be a bit much on the slow motion controls if things get to heavy.
Does the MG2 mate directly to the William Optics tripod without any adapter?
Morton ....Yes ... Sit the Head on the Mount ..... bolts straight on from the bottom. ( underneath )
If you have a look at the 2nd and 4th photos ..... you can see a ' T Handle ' bolt underneath ....That's how the Head is secured to the Mount.
At any rate it look pretty speccy and I'm fantasizing about motors already.
Well chosen!
I tell you what Peter ..... that is very much like mine also.
In fact ... did not know Sky Watcher made that mount.
Give yourself a pat on the back ... and thanks for your comments.
It's very similar to my iOptron Mini Tower.
Though I haven't actually used mine in it's 2 scope configuration.
Hope you're as happy with your new mount as I was with mine.
