I dont know if jokes are acceptable

However, considering what has been going down of late and the courses that are on offer etc etc. My EX wife once said to me about "that time of the Month", "It is the one time in a month where I get to act like you have for the rest of the Month", she was a bit of a ****** **** **** **** though, for those that can understand phonetics.
Just something different to lighten things up.

I think at the moment jokes are accepted in lots of one or two inside an existing thread but a thread of jokes is not acceptable.

This is not stated in the posting guidelines but is a function of moderators interpretation. I think this is OK but causes some confusion and in the case of David P.'s thread that got locked. I sure it will be cleared up.

Just a note here - several posts have been removed by moderators. No warnings, no guidance, no editing. It'll soon be 'permission to speak" I've had a look through previous posts and see that there aremany not practising what they preach - jioning joke threads, participating when it suits them and deleting other peoples posts adhoc.

The posts removed were NOT profane.

There is a difference between jokes, general humour or just informal chat and spam which is un-funny annoying and pointless. the threads that got removed were all un-funny, annoying and pointless. When I go into the general chat forum and talk about my trip to china or my favorite CD It is not spam, neither is a good joke
