Red face Astro Mag Paying Double

Has anyone noticed that the price of a newish Australian Astro mag just doubled?? I paid for a two year subscription( at a discounted rate????) at the beginning of last year. When I received the January edition instead of 1 month printed above the bar code in the bottom left hand corner it now says Jan/Feb.
I didn't see any mention in the editorial. I suppose if they are falling on hard times this would be better than folding in which case we would do our dough completely. Cheers from Zub.

The mag comes out 11 times a year not 12.
The Jan/Feb issue is a combined issue for those two months only.

Didn't you also get a copy of Astronomy 2006 with it? Doesn't that make up for the "missing" edition?

Hi Zubenel,

As mentioned, we do publish 11 times a year - monthly issues from March through to December, and a single January/February issue. In our launch year, we did publish 12, but we're back at the normal 11.

Our next issue, March, will be out shortly.

Astro Mag

Thank you all for the clarification Greg . Everyone is entitled to a holiday .
I don't recall receiving an Astronomy 2006 with the Jan /Feb edition. I'll have to have a look for it. Looking forward to the next instalment! Cheers Zub.
