Yes it is definitely an awesome documentary which is well worth watching. I too have the DVD and have seen it quite a few times now. Those guys are so thrilling! What an adventure it must have been.

Ah, just found out- it's on now on SBS through Foxtel, but free to air is scheduled for 11pm (EST).  Handy if you miss a programme

I can never get enough of the slo-mo launch sequence!
Its not just a visual treat either.
Letting the Astronauts and tell the tale, rather than a full-time narrator was an excellent idea. Pity Neil Armstrong couldn't be coaxed out of hiding.

It's definitely worth keeping a copy of this for historical purposes. How often do you get all these famous astronauts together talking about their experiences on the one show - a rarity. They're also getting on in their years, so who knows if they'll make it for another documentary (all together).  I can never tire of listening to Gene Cernon's (spelling?) stories. He is my favorite astronaut.
Excellent programme.

A guy who I have bought a number of meteorites from in the UK personally knows every man who has walked on the Moon, even had a couple around to his place for dinner....  I have a piece of Apollo 11 and 17 and a Moon rock 
Recorded the show last night and hope to watch it over the weekend.

Damn I fell asleep 1/2 way through the show. I will see if I can find the DVD.
Started work at 7am worked until 5 and then had to drive home from charleville about 3 1/2 hours was tired.

Phew, managed to stay awake, though head had sunk down to the pillows. Enjoyed the show, had some beautiful images of the Moon.

Awesome film, saw it a few years ago and bought the DVD when it became available. Rocket launch is just stunning on the big sound system, shakes the windows.

Just Finished watching it  enjoyed it immensely
It brought back memories of when I listened to the broadcast of the landing on the radio on voice of America from Vietnam in my tent on a jungle dropping zone in Malaysia.
Then on returning to Singapore watching the repeats.
What an experience
The first thing I did after I finished watching it was go outside and look at the Moon
