Amazing Weather again

Here in Mt Beauty at this time of year we normally have tempratures in the low to mid 30's with little to no rain. Again last night and today we have had 5" of rain. This is the 5th such event since September 2010. The Kiewa River is again in flood and emptying huge volumes of water into the Murray river.
Adelaid should have plenty of water down arround the mouth of the Murray River this year.

Working in Hydro electricity Generation I spend quite a bit of time watching various dams in Vic and NSW and often struggle at this time of year to have enough water to meet our generation requirements but this year it is the exact opposite. Where can we put all this water.

Feast or Famine. They are expecting this weather pattern to hang around for quite sometime, I fear that there will be more to come, of what we have experienced lately. It's not just Australia though, the whole planet is copping a flogging atm.

You joke.
"Did the sun rise this morning?"
"Yes"
"OK - put electricity prices up again."

It's just payback for the drought, It won't be long and you'll be looking to find water again.

Drought or flooding rain, sound familiar!

Don't worry Doug, it'll soon be Holidays!
