Moon Maps
Not sure if you've seen these but I recently downloaded 2 "Moon Maps" for my iPad. I've attached a cut and paste of theri descriptors.
I've not had a chance to play with them much but so far like them both.
#1 Moon Phase Photo Map by Astrovisuals (in Australia) available for $4.99 (US store).
I like this a lot...real pictures of the moon at each stage and you can see the names of features on the terminator. If you like the Astrovisuals paper maps you'll like this app. I do.
#2 Moon Globe - Midnight Martin free (he charges for the HD version)
For the price it is really good. Not as powerful or as useful to me as the Moon Phase map for using as a reference but it does allow you to "soar" around to the back side of the moon. It is a fun app.
