my first eta with my 350d

This is one of my first attempts at astrophotography with my new cannon 350d at prime focus. Im an absolute beginner at this and still learning the basics of the camera. Well here it is!!!
I think tracking would be fantastic!!!

hey mate, this is exciting.what length exposure time?

i have been dying to find out what magnification prime focus with a 350 would be, by the look of it around 50x

can't wait to give this a try on my scope. eta carina from memory will be in a nice dark part of the sky!!!

Looks good Danielsun, great start, pretty darn tricky to do with a dob eh? :-) you could try for the moon with that set up and it would be quite nice :-)) with short exposure time

I just learnt that with my editing software that once i tamper with the shot (eg; brightness etc) it no longer tells me the info (eg;iso, exposure, etc) but if i remember it was only about 12 seconds and iso at 1600.

i got some 20 and 30 second exposures to stay pretty still with the modded toucam, and just seeing the sensitivity of 15 sec exposure of a 350d has me itching to get to snake valley!!!
