Glass Solar filter - fits Meade 10"

I've got an 12" glass solar filter ( think it was 1000 Oaks) mounted in a plastic foam cell to suit a Meade 10" SC, (but the filter is easily removable). Comes in wooden custom box.

Make an offer, or what have you to trade. 9 x50 Finder plus brackets? TV eyepieces? Focus motors? Gold nuggets?

How about 3 gold nuggets then for it?

I would think a new cell could easily be made from cellularfoam. I used one of those camping roll up bed foam mat, about 12mm thick. It can be easily cut and rolled/ glued with contact adhesive to fit over the end of the tube. I'm interstate at the moment, but I'll double check the sizes eytc when I get home.

The solar filter is 300mm in diameter. Could fit a 12" telescope.

I can get one this weekend, but it simply a 12mm cellfoam ring 300mm diameter about 150mm wide which holds the glass filter on its edge. The inside diameter fits over the end of the 10" Meade tube. There's a couple of extra circular foam pads which act as "dustcaps" and the whole thing is stored in a customwood box for protection.

Still interested in a trade.... Anyone got a elec focusser with paddle which could be "adapted" to a TV Genesis 4" refractor; what about AstroArt V3.0???? If nothing offered soon, I'd be interested in $$. PM me with your offer.
ps Netwolf's not far wrong with the original prices! but this is secondhand ( albeit in 100% pristine condition)

Full resolution visual/imaging of the sun

This filter would allow full aperture resolution both visually and imaging of the Sun's disk. Can be safely used on any telescope from 8" thru to 12". Very good condition and comes with custom made storage box. First to see it will buy!
What about $175 plus postage!!!! PM me if interested.

Still no offers?? I'll reduce to $150 plus postage. Or a swap for a focusser drive unit I can convert for use on the Genesis?

Yeah, I might be interested. Do you think it would be suitable for a 10" gso dob? (I assume it would, as you said from 8" to 12").

I live in good old QLD, would you be able to give me an estimate of postage costs before I decide fully?

Certainly fit a 10", no problem.
I'm guessing, but with the wooden storgae box, probable postage $15-$20, I can check tomorrow if you need a more accurate cost.
