Is this really true ??

I just see on http://www.weather.com.au/vic/melbourne that it will be clear every night here in Melbourne or are they just pulling my leg

yep, forecast for last night here was clear.

They were right, there was no cloud . . . but we got fogged in!

They're pulling your leg. THere is no such thing as clear night everyday for a week in Melbourne at the best of times, let alone in a record crap summer like this one.

I was out last night, not a hint of cloud in the forecast and what happens, the maritime vomit comes charging in right on moonset and it was pretty much all over red rover from that point on save for a few sucker holes. Needless to say I was lost for words (not four letter ones though)

Hmm how weird,i imaged all night till the morning when it got foggy.

Yep. All flood waters gone, but lots of ground water around. The ground is water-logged.
