Sydney skies clearing at last!!!

Finally after weeks of shocking weather it looks like i can finally get my scope out tonight!!! Hopefully i will be able to see saturn for the first time this year.

ditto here. Fingers crossed that none of that famous Melbourne stratocrapulus layer cloud rolls in from the ocean as usual

It didn't last in Sydney. Clouded over fully before 10.30pm

its clear now im looking at saturn. the rings r opening up.

ditto in Melbourne. First patch of cloud moved thru around 2.15am, right on moonset, followed by the main course around 3-3.30am

did get a productive session in though, despite this and fairly ordinary seeing.
