Day-Tripper (I'm exicted)

As well as astronomy my other thing is (international) travel, man now thats an expensive hobby.

Every 18 months or so I get the urge to head off somewhere this year after a few years procrastination Ive just booked for the worlds longest daytrip.

A 12 hour sightseeing flight Sydney-Antarctica-Sydney on FEb 18th.

I'll be wearing my Ice-In-Space Tshirt.

A friend of mine did that flight and said it was absolutly amazing. I would love to do it and I am extremely envious of you.

P.S. Don't forget to take some pics to make the rest of us even more jealous

Probably once in a lifetime and it's really my 60th birthday pressie to myself -
As first class is over 5,000 could not squeeze that from the budget so Business Class Deluxe.

Yeah that would be a great trip to do. Would like to do it in an ice breaker though. You can really get the perspective of the enormity of the place. Still at least in a plane you are nice and warm and it does give a unique view.
