Bloody idiots

Someone is going around Roma at the moment destroying letterboxes with some sort of explosive device. So far have heard 4 explosions 1 about 50 feet away from our house. At first thought it was a shot gun going off. The letter box across the road peeled open and parts where 20 feet away. Someone could have been seriously hurt/maimed/killed with the force of the explosion.

Sounds like maybe left over fire works from NYE? Idiots. This is one of the reasons why they were banned in the first place.

When we went over the road to make sure everyone was ok (new young lady teachers) there was alfoil on the road and on the remains of the letter box. Police said it was some kind of home made explosive. Recently someone, probably same people, blew up the public toilets.

Most I got up to was the old door knocker and a piece of black cotton tied to it. Pull the cotton and knock on the door and let the cotton go slack, people answer door no one seen close door repeat until they twigged what was happening.
I must have lived a deprived childhood nothing destructive done what have I missed out on?
