Eta Carina early in the season

This image is a combination of my first light NB data collected some months ago with the Atik camera and LRGB data collected last night.

I have included a crop of the image which I guess looks a lot better than the overlayed original. I have also included the original overlayed image showing the data lost due to not considering the camera angle between imaging sessions.
This will hopefully remind me to be a bit more careful when setting up for an imaging session.

I have included these links to higher resolution versions of both images.

http://www.darkskyau.com/cm/displayi...290&fullsize=1 Full image showing lost data.

http://www.darkskyau.com/cm/displayi...289&fullsize=1 The cropped image.

These images are about 1.5MB each

The colour looks very nice Doug. I think you could lighten up the cropped image though as the background looks very dark.

Cheers

I'm so jealous Doug. But I'm loving the images. Keep them coming.

Yep, wonderful stuff, and a real breath of fresh air while the wind and rain are coming down up here.

Very nice well balanced image. Woudln't worry too much about the crop - the image is large enough as is. Nice work..
