A lovely flower - New to Macro

Hi all,

Getting used to my new Tamron 90mm Macro lens. And my, Macro at 1:1 takes a bit to get used to.

Like to share one of my best images with this lens,

Higher F stop might have improved depth of field a bit - lovely colours.
I think I'd have focused on the dark part in the middle of the flower

Nice colour and contrast is not bad but yes I agree with Jenny on the focus point and a bit more DOF.
If you go to a higher f/ number and find youre not getting the depth you want try working a little further away as this also gives more DOF and then you can can just crop the shot a bit to get the frame you like.
