Yeah, the view is amazing (It's the main reason that made us buy the block, and it helped us overlook the horrible 16 acres of pine trees
). That shot was on a cloudy day but on a good day you can see right across to Wilsons Promentary (uhhh....spelling....meh, might be right. Don't know how I did well(ish) in year 12 english when I can't spell). Unfortunatly there will most likely not be an observertory. I have never once seen an entirely clear sky down there
, I don't know why. Anyway, I am a member of the Astronomical Society of Victoria so I can use thier dark sky site whenever I want

. In the end we decieded to test the old egyption method of rollers, which made it easier but it was still very hard, given that there was only the two of us to do it. But now, after 4 days of work we have both bases built and the tanks in place, yay. Now I will sleep for the next four days to recover
