First up, I must say I've spent a number of sleepless nights worrying over the contribution your purple ink and emoticons are making to our collective carbon footprint and global warming.
On balance however, I and many others here really appreciate your ability to lighten up us "dull-as-dishwater" and all-too-serious types to make us realise this site/forum and amateur astronomy generally, is just as much about our enjoyment of each other as individuals as it is about the sharing of information, wisdom and experience.
