Bunnings Cases

Just thought I'd give the heads up on two cases I picked from Bunnings last night. 500x350x190 [inside], air sealed, Really robust, 4 clip-on latchets, Padded 3 levels with high density pre-cut foam (the type you can shape and cut).

$60.00 each. In comparison you'd get half the size for one in Jaycar. These come and go so I'm not sure if it's been posted before. The brand is Craftright Engineering Works.

To give you and idea of the size a G11 will fit in it with room to spare (motors removed). I just use it for adapters and all sort of other junk though that is now piling up in various boxes.

mmm - a case for the G11 would be good - save it rattling around in the car on my way to dark skies...

Thanks Marc, they certainly look great for that price.

Mark, your specs do not match the one in the photo.

I've got one of pictured ones and my G11 will not fit without taking the motors off. I bought a Pelican 1620 for it.

The Craftright will wind up full of accessories.

Yeah they're bloody huge. I ended not using one of them. I'll keep it as a spare. I've gone from too many bits and pieces and not enough storage to too many cases and not enough bits and pieces.

If anyone in Newcastle area is looking for one of these cases Bunnings Glendale had two on sale today at $40 each.
They're near front of the store, in discontinued items section.

Cheers.

I picked up one of these for my EQ6 mount a few weeks ago. It had no price on it and was the last one on the shelf (it was pretty dusty).

Guy at the tool shop looked it up on the computer but couldn't find it. So he said "how does $20 bucks sound? Would you be happy with that?" I replied very calmly, "uhh, yeah I guess that sounds ok."

Thanks! I was stoked. Just wished there were more around - could've paid for my next camera or something.
