Crook Horse and LMC Superbubble

With so much moon light around, the narrowband filters are the main choice whilst trying out a different imaging rig ATM. I think these two images demonstrate problems with not having the camera square to the imaging plane. Anyone concur?

Would CCD Inspector be able to determine if this is so?

Looks like differential flexure to me on the horse, perhaps,a guiding overshoots on the second. But gee if seen a lot worse that's for sure.

Nice images Kieth. As to missalignment of the camera or flexure I don't really know what the problem is but either way you will surely work it out. These images are great anyway and will stand you well till it's sorted.

Thanks Doug, Some more clear nights would be nice. A lot of time yet to be spent completing the superbubble - 5hrs Ha so far but needs a lot more, then the other filters but it's a start. As for the horse... I look at your Ha rendition and I suddenly want a RC, so sharp.

Thanks for the compliment Clive. Differential flexure.... Hmmm. Didn't think of that. I'm waiting on a lodestar to change over to an AO unit so some of these problems will disappear. Unfortunately will be busy learning about a whole host of others.
