VdB141 Ghost Nebula

Hi-Res image of an interesting dusty region with strange structures.

http://www.imagingdeepsky.com/Nebulae/VDB141/VDB141.htm

Not as long of exposure times as I would like, but just enough to show the wispy background gas and dust.

Thanks for taking the time to look,

Kindest Regards,

Wow! This is REALLY nice. The light/translucent colors are breathtaking. Those little guys on the edge of the neb remind me of the inflatable men from the Tooheys ad. Lager is universal. Proof is in the pudding

Lovely image Ken and as smooth as silk.. I don't know how much exposure you wanted on this image but your end result screams quality and good SNR with the extra you missed.
Keep this up and Tom Davis will loose his title as the dust buster.

Fantastic - I'm speachless. Really beautiful and intricate image!
Where do you look up these wispy streaks of dust?

Another great image Ken. I love these dusty vistas and this is a particularly good one. The name is very appropriate.

Thanks for all the kind words, No, I will not even come close to Tom Davis - master of dust but I wanted to give a couple of them a try.

That's a beauty Ken.

Are you turning over to the dust side like Tom?

Greg.

Another bit of lovely Work Ken. Stephen Leshins version of this was seen at APOD a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was a wonderful looking object. Love the little ghosts

Yes, Stephen's was very nice - I think the little ghosts are being chased by an octapus!

Stunning work Ken. Not much else I can add that hasn't already been said. Perhaps super-sensational comes to mind.
