Months, and months, annnnnd months have passed, and I have not managed to squeeze a single shot out of this gear, so its time it went up for sale to fund building me a race engine....
What I have
QHY5 - Comes with an ST4 cable and a USB cable (5m long).. Works perfectly. $250
Orion SS Pro 6.1mp cooled CCD. This is actually the second one of these I have bought in the past couple of years, its a great camera and they take great photos.... I've used these in conjunction with narrowband filters without any problems at all... This comes in an aluminum carry case with all required cables and software to get it running. I'll throw in a 2" to T-Thread nose piece, and also a 2" T-threaded 12nm Astronomik Ha filter. This filter has a male T-thread on one side and a female T-thread on the other side, and goes inbetween the nose piece and camera..
For the SS Pro and all the bits and bobs to get it running im hoping to get $900....
Alternatively, buy both and save yourself $150... and I will cover postage costs anywhere within Australia.
