One of my favorite logic puzzles. I love stumping people for hours with this one. See if you can work it out. please don't spoil it if you know the answer.
four prisoners are arrested for a crime, but the jail is full and the jailer has nowhere to put them. He eventually comes up with the solution of giving them a puzzle so if they succeed they can go free but if they fail they are executed.
The jailer puts three of the men sitting in a line. The fourth man is put in a seperate room and he gives all four men party hats (as in diagram). The jailer explains that there are two red and two blue hats. The prisoners can see the hats in front of them but not on themselves or behind. The fourth man in the room can't see or be seen by any other prisoner. No communication between the men is allowed.
the jailer tells them that if one of them can answer difinitively (no guessing allowed) and say aloud to the jailer what colour hat he has on his head all four prisoners go free.
Ok, I think I have the answer . Took me 15 minutes more or less to realize :/
I love logic games! Post more whenever you can and thx a lot for this one, it was a really good one
lol troy piggo. no hes not superman. they are all normal people. There is no trick at all to this, but it is a tough one.
dark revenge, can you pm me with the answer, i've never seen anyone get it that quick before, im interested to know if you have it right.
well done Luis you got it very quickly.
to everyone else feel free to ask any questions you have but remember the vital points. They can only see forward. they can not turn around or talk to each other and the prisoner in the room is locked away, no one can see him and he can see no one else, he can not even see his own hat.
heres another, not quite as good as the first, but still fun.
There is a room with no doors, no widows, nothing inside it at all and a man is hung from the beam in the ceiling and a puddle of water is on the floor. How did he die?
Simple. He's Superman. He flew up to the ceiling, put rope with Kryptonite in it around neck and hung himself. He was sad because he wasn't the one that could solve your first puzzle. B was.
you could if thats what you think, but i won't give anything away here so i dont spoil anything. when i get right answers, i'm pm-ing the person to let them know if theyre right or wrong.

I can't participate in this one because I already know the answer (I think I've read it in the Internet)... what a pity
Anyway, I'm going to send you a PM with a logic puzzle so as you can try to sort it out (If you don't know it yet) or post it if you want.
lol. heres another one guys, brought to you by luis.
A man lives on the tenth floor of a building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the 1st floor and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator - or if it was raining that day - he goes back to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the seventh floor and walks up three flights of stairs to his apartment. Can you explain why?
Hope this brings you some more fun and thanks again luis.
I think i've heard most of the logic puzzles out there, not to mention some weird and wonderful games. If your near someone at the moment, see if you can do this:
cross your arms over each other in front of you. turn your palms so they face, then put your hands together and link your fingers. bring your hands down and then up between your arms so that you now have your wrists crossed and your fingers linked at your chest. Get someone to point to a finger one by one, but not touch them, and see if you can wiggle it.
Your brain has a tough time with this.
