Astropolis: THIS is how a star party should be documented... brilliant!

Just found this short time-lapse movie documenting a recent star party in Poland called "Astropolis". What a fantastically-produced bit of amateur film making. I really like the panning in apparent real-time with the time lapse occurring simultaneously. Very clever.

Enjoy!

Very cool!

Phil Hart's talk at IISAC this year was about some of the very techniques used there.

The DitoGear DriveCam Slider: http://ditogear.com/drivecam-slider/

US$1,499 plus shipping for a 1m version. Nice!!! Not impossible to make something similar, but if you used it professionally it's not too outrageous.
