The Moon - Catching Up

Haven't had much time to post lately - here are some lunar images from last year. Seeing was poor but wanted to try out the LPI on the moon with a 2x barlow.

I was experimenting with different settings (lower gain than I have tried before) and the images turned out to be very noisy. Anyway, here are the craters Posidonius and Theophilus.

Comments are welcome.

Adam very nice images mate.
The first looks very smooth and the second has good detail.
I like what you've used to process, very good applications.

Have you tried a little noise reduction on these?
Maybe give NEAT image a go. You might bring out a bit more.

I also love your presentation.

I like the shadow angle in the Theophilus crater, both are very good photos.
