The Buddhists are spamming astronomy web sites

G'day all, Haven't posted here for some months, but I felt this was worth mentioning.
Last week I was notified by email that I had a PM on this site, which surprised me somewhat given that I had not posted here for some months.
The PM was from someone who called themselves "Eternity" .
After accessing Eternity's members profile, I learned that this person had joined in March this year, had made no posts whatsoever, gave no contact details but supplied a link to what I later discovered was a site called New Buddhists.
I actually reported this as a " Bad Post" to the moderators, but have yet to receive the courtesy of a reply. Way to go, guys!)
Yesterday I received a PM on My AstroSpace from someone called "Serendipity" who joined in March this year, made no posts, gave no contact details, but supplied a link to a site called New Buddhists.
Now, I have no problems whatsoevevr with Buddhists. Rather, like Doctor Johnson, I believe that "Curiosity is one of the permanent and certain characteristics of a vigorous mind," so I followed the link, registered and started posting, pushing the barrow of science and astronomy, figuring that if they were REAL Buddhists, they wouldn't have a problem with this.
(Plus, I don't like being spammed, no matter how harmless the intention. Otherwise I'd be spamming you guys with Hawkwind, Doctor Who and Alchemy sites.)
My advice to anyone who receives a similar PM is to follow the link, register and give them an alternate view of Nirvana.
Turn-about is fair play, no?
As I say, I've no problem being spammed by Buddhists, if the Buddhists have no problem being spammed by astronomers.
Please don't ask me to comment further as this is my first and only post on the subject.
Do as thou wilt!

Interesting that 3 Buddhist posts appear at the same time as you post this

The user has been banned already. We appreciate all reported posts, but we can't and don't reply to everyone individually when they report a post.

Spammers pick a topic that they think people want to click on. Sometimes it's apple products, other times it's religion.

My advice is to simply report the post and ignore the spammers.
