Nice Leon
I definately need interior pic's and we have a big backyard we have about half an acre of spare space. That I am sure you can park it in when you are in Mackay I will tee it up with my landlord.

Yea your right Graham, a couple of cruising old codgers hit the road.

Peter although pretty heavy it is very stable on the road, especially with the weight over the rear axle of the towing vehicle.
Empty it weighs 4.1tonn, so being loaded it probably will be a 1000 plus K's over that.
With the CVM (combined vehicle mass) we are limited to 8.6tonn.
Heavy indeed, but with much research we have chosen the appropriate vehicle to do the job.

So how many liters per kilometer do you get pulling that home?

Good question my friend, I personally have no idea as yet, but i expect it will be costly.
It has already been fitted with an external tank that will hold 300 liters, giving us 400 liters in total, and if the worst scenario was 20 liters per hundred kilometers, we should get 2000 kilometers with the full fuel load.
I have been told that fuel across to the West can reach double the price, so we hope to drive past that lot.
I will just pull into Dougie's servo, (dugnsuz) on the way through

Looks great!
I've expressed interest in doing something similar upon retirement (still a long way away) so I am jealous.
Enjoy the nomadic lifestyle
