2010 Eureka Prize - Official Photos

As many of you asked to see me in my Penguin Tent on the night I thought a new thread was appropriate so you wont miss'em

...well given the tragedy of losing my camera, the Australian Museum organisers took pitty on me and let me have early access to the official photos

A few other things are in this album too in case anyone is interested in seeing them and if I ever get my hands on some more candid shots from the evening I'll add'em here too.

Thanks again so much everyone on IIS for your congratulations - I Love yus All

Mike

Sorry for not chiming in earlier....I've been discovering the joys (not) of SkyX Pro, Windoze 7 and why telescope/camera/dome/wx monitor hardware were simply not co-operating with each other.....all works now

But I digress.....

Credit where it's due.

I night to remember for sure, Black tie, good (very tall) sort with a cheque for $3k, and.....what can you say other than .....Well done!

Aaaa Mike, nice Tux... has a slimming affect on you

Congrats on second prize!!

Now rubbing shoulders with these science boffins, you need to get your grammer right...

The photo with lovely Lucy, should be "Lucy Dunwell and I"

Bummer about the lost camera....

Well done.

Can't believe a stinkin' rotten fly won over the brightest star birthing and defuse areas in our visible universe.... must be some fly

All the best
Rich
